Devil is raising inferno

Have you ever had premonitions? Or, have you ever seen a bad dream, so intense, that you woke up screaming in your mind? It is 6:05am of January 01, 2008 here, and I just experienced the same about 10 minutes back.

I cannot call it anything other than a bad omen, especially when it has occurred on the night that marks the beginning of the New Year. Moreover, the fact my intuitions have turned into reality multiple times in past does not help either.

Let me try to describe what I have seen in words. If possible, I will try to draw and attach a picture of the same. Oddly enough, the title of this post is the phrase that came to my mind while having this dream, though I do not remember having heard this phrase ever before.

These were my mental assumptions within the dream:

1. I am on a hillock, and returning from somewhere to my resting place (Now, this may be from mess to my room, though the scenery of the hillock was a bit different).
2. It is evening time (around 5:30pm). Thinking of the very fact turns my attention towards the sky. I see gloomy scenery above.
3. Akhilesh (Meena) comes and informs me that Amit (Agrawal) is looking for Sourabh to thrash him down. I reply, “Look, the devil is raising inferno”. Meghna hears us and runs towards her room, with Ritu following asking what happened. Thinking of it now, this tells me that, the part of sky I was looking at was that above hostels A, E and F (focus between A and E).

The scene that I saw:

Gloomy Ink Blue sky, with an odd shine in this colour, which hints that the colour has penetrated deep in the sky. A little below, I see a dark gray layer of sky that spans between the ink blue sky and the roofs of the hostels; Thin above A block but covering almost entire stretch of space between A, E and F blocks, and extending further deep over scope of vision over volleyball court.

There is a light gray brush stroke to form an odd kind of curve, as is used to show hairs of some Duke in hand drawings. This gray shape covers a small portion of dark gray sky and encloses what appears to be a Dark Blue door, same as what my room has. I turn my attention a little right, over the gap above A, E, and F blocks, and there I see a raising fire, as if someone has flamed a torch. That is the point when Akhilesh comes as mentioned above. Suddenly entire sky turns black, and I feel a strong urge to run for my life. That is where I woke up.

I woke up thinking what bad thing could it mean, and the word that came to my mind is War. And, I fear that we will see it while we are still here.
